Does the Populate Category App preserve existing Workfront information?

If the Category being (re)populated is already in use, any existing data be preserved PROVIDING each Parameter is still listed in the Excel File. If a Calculated Expression is modified in the Excel file, the new result will be recalculated (optional). CAUTION: an existing Parameter is NOT listed in the Excel file, that Parameter will be DROPPED from the Category along with any DATA that currently exists for that Parameter!

No: it only updates existing Categories (although they can be empty) using existing Parameter Groups and Parameters

This App lets you select an Excel file. Run it to upload the Excel file and process its Category tab, which reconstructs the Category using the instructions in the Excel file, and (optionally) recalculates the Custom Data Expressions. The cost is per Execution.
